In occasione della Notte Europea dei Ricercatori – SHARPER, gli scienziati e le scienziate degli enti di ricerca entrano nelle scuole di Trieste per raccontare il loro lavoro e rispondere alle domande dei partecipanti.

Incontro in lingua inglese con: Giovanni Ortolani, Cristina Serra e  Sean Treacy, TWAS L’Accademia Mondiale delle Scienze

Science can appear complex, but fear not! This session, aimed at high-school students and carried out in English, aims to equip high-school students with essential tools for interviewing scientists and creating compelling science stories. The TWAS Public Information Unit staff will guide students through understanding scientific articles meant for the general public, crafting effective questions, providing context, and avoiding common pitfalls when writing about science. It will also explain the importance of fact-checking and how the press office of an international science academy works.
